Vietnamese contemporary art - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2012

Speaking at the exhibition's opening ceremony on October 17, Vietnam Ambassador in Malaysia, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thao said that he hoped the exhibition, the first of its kind to be held in Malaysia, would introduce the distinct features of Vietnamese contemporary art to Malyasian and international friends.

Numerous visitors had been impressed by the 40 plus paintings on display, on both silk and canvas that featured Vietnamese people, typical daily activities and countryside.

The exhibition 'Vietnam contemporary art', which held in Kuala Lumpur from 17 to 28 October 2012, was the first in a series of activities hosted by Vietnam Embassy in Malaysia to mark the 40th anniversary of establishment diplomatic ties between Vietnam - Malaysia.
