Special Angel Exhibition

Date: 05.31.2026 - 06.07.2026

The Special Angel exhibition is taking place at Lotus Gallery from May 31 to June 7, 2026, creating a unique art space dedicated to little souls with immense resilience. In celebration of International Children's Day, the exhibition opens up a creative playground for "special" children—who, despite physical impairments or challenges in their developmental journeys, still preserve a deep passion for painting and a unique way of perceiving the world through their own vibrant colors.

Every artwork in this exhibition is more than just a painting; it is a story of resilience, the joy of living, and a profound desire to connect with the world. 100% of the proceeds from art sales will be given directly to the young artists involved, providing practical life support and empowering them to continue nurturing their passion for art.

Special Angel is a collaborative effort by Lotus Gallery, Tòhe, and Osaka Coffee, born from a shared vision to create a deeply meaningful community activity where art serves as a bridge for empathy and love. Additionally, the exhibition will host the award ceremony for the "The Ocean" painting contest organized by Osaka Coffee—further spreading the spirit of creativity and faith in the beauty of childhood.

About the Partners

Tòhe

Tòhe is a social enterprise founded in 2006 with the mission of providing equal creative education opportunities for all children.

  • Through weekly creative playgrounds and intensive training classes, children explore and experiment with art across various materials, enabling them to discover themselves, build confidence, and develop their talents.

  • Selected artworks are adapted into fashion and lifestyle products. 5% of the revenue is shared back as income for the young artists whose designs are featured.

  • Together with its partners, Tòhe also implements non-profit educational projects, art exhibitions, and sustainable development programs to raise public awareness about various social issues.

  • Over 20 years of operation, Tòhe has hosted creative spaces for over 6,000 special children across 3,000+ classes, paid out over 2 billion VND in artwork royalties, and organized 13 non-profit art exhibitions and events.

Osaka Coffee & "The Ocean" Painting Contest

Osaka Coffee is a unique cafe model where the entire staff is hearing impaired. Beyond coffee-operations training, Osaka Coffee also hosts weekly art classes for its team members.

  • The Acrylic Painting Contest themed "The Ocean" for people with disabilities was organized with the desire to open up an artistic space where every emotion can speak through colors.

  • For individuals with hearing impairments, intellectual disabilities, autism, or developmental delays, each painting is not just an artwork but the voice of their soul, dreams, joy, and the longing to connect with the world.

  • In this contest, "The Ocean" represents more than just nature; it is a symbol of freedom, hope, and limitless possibilities. The Organizing Committee believes that art can touch every heart and transcend conventional language barriers, helping individuals with disabilities be recognized with deep appreciation and love.
