About Lotus Gallery
Established in 1991, Lotus Gallery is one of the very first private galleries opened in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With more than 30 years of experience, the gallery has represented primary works across all media including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and photography, seeking to cultivate the lineages that run between emerging and established Vietnamese as well as South East Asian artists. Since its inception, Lotus Gallery has held hundreds of both domestic and international exhibitions. Not only that, the gallery has been committed to working with and advising artists on all aspects of their career and legacy planning.
In 2022, marking the beginning of a new chapter, the gallery was relocated to an 800m2 exhibition space in District 7, HCMC. While maintaining the strength in Vietnamese Post War Modern art, the gallery is expanding into the Contemporary regime, highlighting works and practices that reflect the current social context. The gallery is ambitious to prepare and produce museum-quality shows, aligning with the mission of becoming a leading art destination for Vietnam and regional artists, collectors and art lovers. In addition to the exhibitions, Lotus Gallery is fully dedicated to working closely with our collectors to build their collections, locate works of art, and provide art advisory services.
Along with the promotion and support programs for artists, the gallery also organises recurring cultural programs and events connecting artists and art lovers, including curatorial tours, public talks, studio visits, performances and film screenings, which contribute to the growth of the artsy ecosystem.
