Lotus Gallery
Established in 1991, Lotus Gallery is one of the very first private galleries opened in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. With more than 30 years in business, the gallery has gradually transformed to a well-equipped art hub for collectors to stay informed and connected. Our ideology is to promote artworks that speak to the viewers, create in-depth connections, and strike emotion. We believe that ‘art is a way and knowledge is the destination.'
The gallery always aims to represent talented living Vietnamese artists and popularize their works in local and overseas art shows. Our first exhibition was hosted in 1991 at The Louvre, Paris, with a focus on Vietnamese Modern Art. From 1997 to 2010, we strategically partnered with Alliance Francaise to organize annual exhibitions in Singapore. In 2012, the gallery was appointed to represent the Vietnam art scene in the event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Korea and Vietnam, hosted in Seoul.
In total, Lotus has held hundreds of exhibitions since its founding day. With the relocation to an enlarged space in 2022, the gallery is able to run monthly educational art programs as well as host art talks amongst artists, curators, and collectors. This year, 2023, we will still maintain our strength in Post Vietnamese War Modern art as well as explore Contemporary art to highlight works that reflect the current social context.
And as our founder, Madame Xuan Phuong, always says “We only have one life to live”, we hope you will find delight, enlightenment, and lots of new perspectives by having art as part of your life.
